Wild Hearts Therapy

About Me

With over five years' experience across NHS, clinical, and community mental health settings, I have supported people facing a wide range of emotional, behavioural, and psychological challenges.

Before training as an Art Psychotherapist, I spent more than 20 years working in education. This included five years teaching English as a Foreign Language to adults and children in the UK and overseas, and 15 years working within Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) services, providing intensive behavioural support to neurodivergent and highly traumatised young people.

This work taught me that behaviour is often communication: a sign of unmet needs, overwhelming experiences or a world that has not made enough room for difference.

My own life experiences also shape how I work. I know traditional systems do not work for everyone, so I aim to offer therapy that is flexible, accessible and responsive to the person in front of me.

Outside work, nature and animals are important to me. Horses have always been part of my life, and my two large dogs are a daily reminder of connection, play and being present.
